    A Festiva adventure, kinda.

    So, I bought a Toyota Camry with an engine ready to let go for $500. LKQ has them for $200, and I have a buyer lined up to buy it for $2500. So this should be a good flip.

    Anyway, went with WulfgartheGreat in his Festiva, Redrum. The Camry is about three miles from my house, and starts up, we figured we could nurse it back here down the highway late night.

    Made it about half a mile when I hear some thunking noises, feel more from the floorboard, and smoke starts flooding the car. Get to the side of the road, get out, and there is a hole, about the size of my fist, blown out of the block! EPIC!

    So, Redrum pushed this Camry about 3 miles back to my house, up and down hills, and Wulfgarthegreat as a relatively inexperienced driver did a GREAT job of pushing, not a scratch or dent on either car!

          Looks like the connecting rod and about half the cap flew right on out of there. I am still chuckling

                    2.2 right? I want to swap one of those into my wagon sometime in the future, that was the original plan when we thought the engine was toast, but since its not I've been driving it as-is for now.
                    No festiva for me ATM...
