Also don't overlook 330 cca (cold crank) lawn and garden batteries. They easily have enough juice to charge a Festiva. Even modded/engine-swapped ones (or so I've read on here). Of course, if you have a huge stereo system, this might not be the best alternative.
I bought a new (lawn mower) battery for $31 (with a core battery exchanged). Seems the juice on it is just fine.White '92 GL 5-speed BP, G series, Aspire/Rio swapped, "Nancy"

Uhhh, WalMart here wanted $110 for the correct battery for the wife's Festy.
I bought a battery from LKQ for $28 with exchange. It's a MAXX 3-year warrenty battery from WalMart and it's only 1.5 years old.1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car
