LOOPER: The Future has Festivas and BP's!

I just got back from seeing Looper. Pretty crazy movie. Not 5 minutes in, they are showing a street that supposed to be from the year 2044. For some reason the only cars in the future are rusted out cars from now. They pan, and there it is, a White Festiva! Actually it appeared to have less rust on it than the Nissan Versas, and endless supplies of Daewood that are in the movie.

The movie goes on to show the main character uncovering his pristine Miata for a night out on the town!

Looks like we are good to go for at least another 30+ years!

I just don't know why the future would have SO MANY Daewoo Lanos! My guess is they bought a fleet of them for CHEAP (Still overpayed).

Those stupid Daewoos haha, they are so cheap.

But I am very interested in seeing the movie! Always love to see a movie with a festiva in it :p, especially a pristine miata!

A good buddy of mine had a Lanos sport. The week he hit 120k his timing belt went, bye bye valvetrain! Just like clockwork.

went to the movie tonight. Saw the festy a couple times and realized its the festy that i post about a couple weeks ago. It was for sale on copart with a funky looking front end on it.

You sure? I was looking, and I saw it once at the beginning, and maybe one other time. I thought everything else I saw was a Lanos...?
