It doesn't bolt on. You can cut it out,, or install a sliding ragtop.

^^ anything is removable with the right cutting tools

If you do a sliding ragtop make sure you reinforce things properly.

When you say roof panel, do you mean the steel roof, or just the headliner inside the car.

Ohh, good one, I wasn't thinking headliner.

sorry steel roof, maybe I can reinforce it from the underside to get the floppyness out of it and then fill it

No problem. They have several sizes. Not sure which would be the best for the Festy, but the 35x35 is the smallest and cheapest!

If you remove the front and rear glass, and the rain channel covers, you can remove and replace the roof panel as a unit. Nobody produces it, so yous need to get one from another car.

The reinforcement inside above the headliner is likely buckled, causing the roof panel to be allowed to move and flex. Remove the headliner, and using a jack and a 2x4, put pressure against the roof sp youars until they meet the roof, then slowly and carefully apply pressure to set them, being careful not to buckle the roof outward. Apply new adhesive before doing this.

I kinda figured it was replaceable after looking at it, I haved actually done a similar repair on a 73 Bronco so i get what ur saying, please specify about the type and placement of the adhesive THANX

I got a few extra roof braces out of another Festiva at the junkyard to stiffen the roof a little. It is very thin sheet metal.
