Anyone know the original pricing on a 91 Festy, including option costs?

  • #2
Best I can do is an 87 LX loaded was $6868.00. Alloys were $396 extra.

I used to have an old DOS program that would show you the different costs based on what options you chose. Don't know where it got to.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

There was never an '87 Festiva in the US... Or anywhere else I don't think.

Gotcha... You can buy a 2013 car now, that was built in 7/12... It's still a '13 though.

Mine was born 26/9/89 (two weeks after me) and it's a 1990 model. No idea on the original price, sorry! Previous owner misplaced it.

My 91 has AC, power mirrors, big stereo-cassette, cruise control, rear wiper. What do you think it would have cost new?

I think only LX's came with power mirrors, so somebody upgraded something along the way.

And cruise wasn't an option, unless it was a dealer add-on?

I can't find the original paperwork on my '93 parts car, but it was somewhere around $5800 for a base-model L. No options, not even a radio!

Yeah, should have been "in 87". Came from an 87 issue of Road and Track.
