What is this?

I've seen this on a bunch of Festys that were at FM6 (wish I could've got off work) - what is it? It looks like a turbo attached at the muffler. BTW - this is a very nice Festy in this pic

It is a rear mounted turbo... basically in the place where the muffler would be. Eurotiva is the man to talk to about this.

That's mentalmarks car, eurotiva and sonic have it too, I've got a picture here somewhere of kumalabas rear turbo incognito if I can find it.. I think it was kumalabas car anyway haha..

IIRC, the rear mounted turbo does NOT need an intercooler. I have heard the FL boys also say it runs better in high heat/humid weather. Perhaps the humidity acts like water injections?
