Not sure about a write up, but the intermittent wiper mod is my personal favourite. Especially in the rainy climate I live in.

I didn't see the cup holder mod yet. I always thought that was a necessary improvement to the rather mediocre festiva center console. The whole center console from a Ford Escort will swap in with a little cutting, and provides cup holders. Looks nice and clean too. $10 at a salvage yard.

Protege center console works too. Cost me $17 for a full Escort Console. Something like 10 for just the front part of the Protege console.
