local parts place has a damaged aspire with 180 000 k on bids for $100, I know a few parts are swappable but not sure what??

Bigest swaps are suspension, seats & motor! Well worth $100 bucks just for suspension/brakes!
If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

Worth that if you drug it straight to the crusher for an easy 100$ profit, including gas money.

Yep, suspension and brake upgrade parts are an easy $200 at many JY's, not to mention wheels. The engine swaps right in, and the trans can be made to fit. Seats too, IIRC.

I hope you have a Festy to graft all these Aspire parts on to. Rear beam (plus e-brake) and front sway bar are the biggies; those parts can't be sourced from newer Kia Rios like front brake upgrades can. Early Aspires have identical engine components to Festy and 96 and up are a bit harder to play with except as a long block swap only because they've got OBDII electronics.
