It's murdered out now. The color has been chosen and purchased! I went with duponts Sassy Orchard Metallic.....yup bright purple.

I like the purple color choice. It should also look nice on the black. I like the idea of doing Bright Green on one side and purple on the other. Totally joker!

Up here folks put their 'pride and joy' alloy wheels away and buy cheapy gloss black steel rims for the winter. It's become so prevalent now that black is 'in'. Silver argent used to be the colour of choice. I am a little bit different and paint my rims with Galvabright which is a silver-looking paint but has zinc powder in it. Zinc is a sacrificial anode metal and (you'd think) it would protect the steel wheels better. Anyway if you like pink or lavender, it's your car, not mine.

I'm a fan of the bright colors for winter wheels. It's something fun for the depression cold season!
