Most festivas are BC/CC actually.. the only ones that are ss are the solid non metallic colored cars, Red ones I know are for sure, white maybe? But most ours are BC/CC paint system, the only way to restore that is to repaint it really.. once the clearcoat goes there is no cheap easy fix to it, simple as that.

My White 88 was bc/cc. Not sure about other years, but it stands to reason that other years of white are too.
