Lucky, I would kill to have one of those. It is in such nice shape as well.
I actually saw a lower end Merkur driving around a week or two back, first time I had seen one in person, I always loved European Fords.
I am glad people here in the states have been warming up to european cars, Fiesta, Fiat 500, and allot of Chryslers now are rebadged Alfa Romeos with different styling.
Let's be honest here, Americans haven't designed any truely great cars in a very very long while. This damn country is fixated on designing flashy SUVs and pickups, no car anymore is 100% American except for Mustangs and Corvettes, hell the new Challengers have an australian chassis. My parent's Fusion is pretty much a Mazda. Toyotas and Hondas are more american than any domestic make.
Wow I got way off track...... Woops....
We need the Focus RS here in the states.
1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)
2002 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport 2.2L DOHC Ecotec (Threw a Rod)
1998 Chevy Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6 (225k miles) Best MPG = 28
Gonna try and get the lower cladding reinstalled today and then start in on the mods. Right now it's got a 3" full exhaust so it's got full spool around 2300rpm as well as an aftermarket rapido intercooler (factory they have none!) but the stock boost control solenoid is acting up and limiting it to 10psi through the full rpm range. Normally at 4k rpm it opens up and lets 15psi push through.
I'd probably sell every car i owned if i could have a Focus RS.
Still boggles me they ran 15psi non-intercooled on these stock!

Just FYI; the (2005 and up) Mustang is loosley based on the Jag/Ford DEW98 platform that was the basis for the Lincoln LS and Jag S-Type. So it's not all American either. The Fusion/Mazda 6 was jointly developed by Ford and Mazda, under Ford's direction and ownership. So really, the Mazda 6 is more Ford than Mazda.
With that said; nice score!!!! I always liked the looks of the Scorpio better, though.
