WHAT I thing the Subaru BRAT is an awesome name. I've always loved that car and the name just makes it that much better!
I will say the write up for the Festiva is kind of funny. But I will say that some of the cool decals that came on the Festiva were quite Festive if you asked me!
I think they couldn't be more wrong on the VW Thing too. Another great name and they even spot on with this statement in their own write up, "the Thing, a curiously nondescript name that still manages to nail this vehicle's innate weirdness." The Thing is the perfect name for that car!

I bet the guy hasn't even driven one.
Cramped? Far from it, I have been in four door full sized cars that felt more cramped than a Festiva. Hell it feels cramped as hell in front seats of my folk's Fusion compared the the front seats of my Festy.
What is this guy, 6-7 feet tall?
Wow, plenty of complaints in the comments on this article. lol So we can just take this article with a grain of salt.1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)
2002 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport 2.2L DOHC Ecotec (Threw a Rod)
1998 Chevy Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6 (225k miles) Best MPG = 28

I don't understand the "cramped" comment either. The writer obviously wasn't at Westiva a couple of years ago when Aaron (Aaronbrook37) and Mike (sasquatch) arrived in the same Festiva.Ian

The "before Kia knew how to make decent cars" comment really pisses me off. But that's okay, it will just mean fewer people will want the ones that are left, and that leaves more for me.

I hate MSN... I wrote a huge reply, and the site crashed. Let those idiots believe what they want. I've got more comments, which are Arena quality.

There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"
