I dunno about cramped. Im 6'6 and pushing 300 and it has more room in the cabin for the driver than my Z, Honda and datsun. Its more comfortable than my chevelle ever was, the seats are better than my monte and its not a POS like my sebring was.....

P.S. there is a kid on my other forums who is stuffing a toyota uzf1 (?) whatever into a yugo. I want a yugo to build and play with too....

6'11" 240 here. Not cramped at all. The flat door panels and low seat with the high roof line work wonders in this car! Even the pedals are nicely spaced for my feet!

The guy obviously doesn't know that the name "Escort" was used by Ford for decades in Europe....where it is legendary as a classic small RWD performance sedan, in the heretige of the Cortina. It set a standard years ago. I noticed he forgot the Datsun Bluebird and Renault LeCar.

They build them big in Canada. Lots of space up there, though.

Whenever I'm driving or riding down the road and see a Festiva, I sit up (or stand on the pegs), point, and shout "Fes-TEEEEEEEEEEEEE-vaaaaaaaa!"

That doesn't work with "Park Avenue". Try it sometime!

Cramped? Far from it, I have been in four door full sized cars that felt more cramped than a Festiva. Hell it feels cramped as hell in front seats of my folk's Fusion compared the the front seats of my Festy.

What is this guy, 6-7 feet tall?

Wow, plenty of complaints in the comments on this article. lol So we can just take this article with a grain of salt.
I'm 6'2" and I have more than enough room
