I was sitting in class today and I was thinking of cool things I could do to a Festiva. I got to thinking and I thought of a good one! What if I put a Festiva body on a Suzuki Sidekick frame?! So i did a little research and the wheel bases aren't to far off. I've seen a Ford Falcon on a Bronco frame. So I wanted to know if anyone else has ever thought of doing this? I think it would make a neat one-of-a-kind Festiva!hmmmmmm

They're all very cool, however I was thinking more of a "monster" Festiva. think of a sidekick with big tires and lifted but its a Festiva on top.1974 Dodge Dart Swinger - SOLD

I feel like someone has done this with a similar thing...maybe a Tracker or something?

FestivaBeast.jpg
Ford Festiva body on a K5 Blazer frame with a Cadillac big-block V8 and front and rear steering.
It now has an external roll cage, multiple flood/driving lights, massive winch and lockable diffs for rock crawling.
(That is not box tubing for a front bumper, that is solid 2” bar stock and is probably the most “lightweight” built piece on the whole thing. That is just the way my family builds stuff.)
Just happened to find this.1974 Dodge Dart Swinger - SOLD

Re: Has anyone ever thought about or has done this?
I'll ask the obvious question: Why not just get a sidekick? In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:
There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"

That...looks like a Heavily Modified chassis. You wouldn't need a stock sidekick or tracker chassis if you were doing that much work!!

The Samurai was the cooler Suzuki! If only because of it's name!

I actually do have a Sidekick. lol But I just thought about it and I think it would look cool. It wouldn't necessarily have to be that big. But bigger than the previous pics. Maybe like 35's?1974 Dodge Dart Swinger - SOLD
