  • FESTIVA IN AUTOWEEK MAGAZINE!!

    Whoa, I couldnt believe it!

I was sitting on the "thinking throne" hmmmmmm ... at work, looked thru the couple mags sittin' on the shelf, saw one I hadnt seen before....

....November 12, 2012 issue of Autoweek Magazine.

Picked it up and scanned a few pages, and lo and behold! What do I see!!!

    This......

It was just so cool to see this, and in Autoweek. It is actually an add for a car show....... but how 'bout that Festiva MODEL!!!!

Who wants one of those?! :blob7:

Kinda reminds me of this :fred:

    That's pretty sweet!!

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

But why is the hood so sloped? And why does it have Daihatsu Charade rear fender arches?
      No festiva for me ATM...

Nope, for one thing the 101s had clear corners not ambers, and even though the fender arch is more charade than it is festiva, the whole rest of the quarter panel is off. I used to own a Charade, and thats not one. Its either something European or Japanese that we never got here, or its just a stylized model calling upon design cues from several different subcompact hatchbacks.

          This was my Charade

You got that! I dont think its a Daihatsu Charade though, or a Fiat, and only a true Festiva lover would know the difference! LOL

At first glance it does look Festiva-ish. Can anybody really identify it? Maybe I could get a model of it anyway, 'cause ya sure cant get a model of a Festiva!
