I think I will hold off on the swap I have a friend doing the repairs right now he said all together it will cost me 800$. This is with bearings, pads, shoes, brake lines, ebrake cable, and a strut i believe. How is the body on that one you are scrapping Bert? If i remember correctly damkid is out london way which is in between both of us. I think I will just try to get it back on the road with original parts and try to improve it over time. Do you guys think that 800$ is a lot? That includes labour, which he must be giving us a deal on. Also he said that there is a bunch of rot near the struts so he is going to have to weld a patch on. I wish I could wait and hunt for cheaper parts but my GF needs the car asap to get to her volunteer teaching position. Hope the repairs go well it is kind of out of my hands now I will definitely be posting pictures once I pick it up.... whenever that may be hopefully within 2 weeks.

$800 better include labor as well, because those parts do NOT add up to $800. And what kind of friend charges to work on a Festiva?
