  • Clear No-Bump Corners

I took a shot and my offer was accepted for a set on UK eBay. However the guy wants 12GBP(about $19 USD) each to ship them. Doesn't that seem a bit excessive? I don't mind paying my BO price of $15 a pop for the set, but I've asked for a combined ship quote that'll hopefully be lower. That's almost $40 USD in just shipping, and I know they are tiny little things that weigh nearly nothing.

Am I being nit-picky? If anyone's interested, there is another set listed but without shipping option, so you'd have to negotiate that pre-purchase. Also a set of the Euro tails are on there.

That's a BIG ocean it's got to cross. Shipping is always bad from UK/France... (Honestly $20 for anything from Britain is a good deal!) Good luck!

It's a little excessive. Mind you, Royal Mail is some of the fastest service I've ever received. I get some parcels faster from London to Western Canada than packages from California and Oregon... especially smaller ones.

That sounds about right for postage. I just checked the Royal Mail rates and a 800g (28oz.) small package from the UK to North America is £11.64. A letter coming our way could cost the Brits as much as £3.30!

What I'm saying is he wants $19 usd each to ship them, though. That seems like double what it should be, right?

Yeah shipping profiteering is a huge problem on Ebay. Not much you can do about it unfortunately. You could contact him and ask for a discounted combined shipment.

Whereabouts in the UK are they? Is there a collect option? I'll gladly help if I can and send them on at cost.

That would be awesome, but I don't know if they'd let you or not, or if it'd be out of your way or not.
Item location says: Cheadle, Cheshire, United Kingdom.

EDIT: Shows the exact address too.

Did you get the early or late corner lights? Only the early are direct fit.

Says they're from 91 and up, but I assumed that was wrong and just looked at the pics. Listing says actual vehicle, so they should work. I thought all the late model ones had that bump on them?

I believe for those to work you need the fenders, different curvature. You should totally ask him for those headlights and grille! I would LOVE to have that for my 90lx!!

                              Hmm, well that would bite.
He says in the listing that the car is being parted, so just search ebay.co.uk for Kia Pride, and you'll find it. I'm sure it's available.
