  • Festiva Factory / Standard Wheel Offset

Question: Is the offset for the factory / standard wheels 38mm or 40mm?

Asking the question because I've seen posts and even one sticky in the custom wheels and suspension forum that say conflicting info.

Yes, I know that some Festivas had a factory standard of 4" wide wheels and others had 4.5" wide wheels but 1/4" inch (1/2" divided by 2) does not make a 2mm difference.

    Bueller? Bueller?.....

I thought it was 35 to 38mm. I never could understand the wide tolerance.

        I'm pretty sure it's either 38mm or 40mm.

We'll find out for sure once one of the gurus on here imparts their knowledge to us. FestYboy? Neanderpaul? Eurotiva? DamKid? DriverOne?....

Can't. My Festiva is at the paint shop for the next 7-10 days and I don't have any extra wheels sitting around.

                          Larry -

                          Nope.

                          These....Eagle Alloys Series 192 - 15x6, 4x114.3, offset 32mm.jpg

                          And these.....1.1 - XXR-008.jpg

First one is a 32mm offset and the second is a 42mm offset. Needed to find out how much offset the factory standard wheels are (along with the (backspacing?) so I can determine spacers, etc. I know the first ones will fit because I've seen that identical wheel on a yellow/black Festiva 'pickup truck' with gull wing doors. It is sweeeeeet! Second ones are going to be a bit trickier. I bought the second wheels but those will have to wait a while.

                          Cheers!
