  • Center Bore Size of Stock Festiva Wheel?

OK guys, I'm buying new wheels for my second Festiva. Need to know the center bore dimension of the stock/factory Festiva wheels. Didn't even think about this issue until today. No, I don't have a set of calipers or I'd measure them myself.

I tried a search and I found posts claiming the following sizes:

    - 54.1 mm
    - 59.5 mm
    - 59.6 mm

And from the wheel rep I talked to today, he claimed Festivas had this:

    - 63 mm

    hmmmmmm.....can't be all four.

Yes, I am aware of what are often called 'hub-centric' rings / spacers for easy installation of wheels in which the center bore of the wheel is larger than the stock Festiva axle. However....for my second Festiva I was thinking about getting some Oz Racing MSW-19 wheels in a 15" diameter which have a 56mm center bore. With these wheels having a center bore of 56mm they won't fit at all unless the stock Festiva center bore is indeed 54.1mm.

    Any help?

(BTW, my apologies if this should have been posted in the 'Custom Wheel' forum. Guess I was thinking it should go here based on the "stock" aspect of my question.)

Somebody mic-ed them at 59.5. However the size you can readily get that will work is 59.6.

    Found it: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...l=1#post261729

Yeah, I read that thread, too. But I still saw 3 other posts that claimed it was 54.1. That's why I posted this; just trying to double check. The post you're referring to was the only one that had that number (59.5).

He personally mic-ed it to see what size it was. How did the others say they got their info? IDK which is true, but I'd go with whatever sounds the most solid. They're cheap enough that you could try a few if you have to.

if you want true confirmation, i'd hit up a tyre specialist, just to be certain that yours will be exact. never pays to mess with something so important.

No other posters said how they got their measurement info. Most of the posts I read said 54.1, although one forum member recently told me that is the same dimension for the Aspire hubs. Can't just try buying multiple hub-centric spacer rings because the problem is that the wheel I'm considering buying for my second Festy won't fit; the Oz Racing MSW-19 wheel center bore is too small (56mm). That's why I gotta find out the stock Festiva wheel center bore.

The 54.1 is for the Aspire. I believe the Festiva is 59.6

I found this site very useful: http://www.carlsalter.com/kia-wheel-fitments.html

Says 59.5. I've got some Suzuki Swift 13" rims with a 60mm CB. They're not as tight.
