  • Product Review Threads

I had an idea the other day about product review threads.

For example, a forum section for threads dedicated to reviewing different parts- replacement or aftermarket, polls for what type/brand you're using, and places to find obsolete/obscure parts.

    What do y'all think?

If there's already something like this, point me to it.

Why do I feel like no one reads my posts?

Austin, give us time. It was 12:45 am on the east coast when you posted it
There's probably not a lot of members on at this time on Saturday night. I do like your idea though of having
Product reviews in a single thread.

Identifying pattern failure is a big part of repair!

It was 9 something on the west coast but a lot of us only check in once a day, and some only check in once a year or so when they have Festy fever!

I first posted this 3 days ago.

I got the idea when I checked my brake pads. My current ones are Wagner ThermoQuiet and they've lasted as long as Raybestos with plenty of life left still. They also make far less brake dust.

Hey Torque Effect, I've never heard of Bosche parts. Where do you find them?

Not sure if you are serious or not.

Bosche do sparkplugs, O2 Sensors, oil filters, and maybe a few other parts.
They are fine on other cars, but they are not quite up to snuff for our Festivas.

Like it is widely regarded on here, that you get 1-5mpg more with a Denso o2 sensor, over the Bosche Universal sensor which are carried at every McAutoparts stores.
Plus the last Bosche plugs I put in, I ended up having to pull and return because I started having terrible ignition problems.

Also after researching oil filters more, Bosche filters are almost as cheaply as FRAM filters.

Actually I'm messing with you. I've run Bosch platinums in my festy for yrs.
                      You had Bosch spelled wrong.
