I found like a 91 Mercury Tracer and i dint know if i should get that or a festy. They look about the same. i just don't know. and another question, how do u go about asking somebody about their festy if its not for sale? should i leave a note or something? I'm too stupid for my own good :cry:

Get the festiva. The tracers are nice though.
If the festiva is at someones house just knock on the door and ask if it's for sale. If you spot one in a parking lot then I'd leave a note. Saying something like: Is your car for sale? If so call xxxxx. If it's not for sale keep my # for the future when you decide to get rid of it.
I had a friend who put a note on a wrecked mustang gt and a year later they contacted him and he got a great deal.

The tracer is a ford escort which is a 323 or protege. It is a big version of the festiva. Very similar construction. The tracers and escorts came with the 1.8 DOHC motors made by mazda and they also came with 1.9 for motors.
