write-up on an early pride delivery van. shoulda bought a Skoda.

The two black caps on the Skoda rear shock towers almost look like the dust caps on the front GTX sport shocks. I plan on installing a pair to cover up my rust. I wonder if those Skoda caps fit the Festiva?

Ok, stupid to eliminate rear side windows, creates significant blind spots so you then really need big delivery van type mirrors.

On other hand eliminating the liftover in back making it into a mini station wagon is good. I miss my old Volvo wagons, but dont need that big of a car for just me.

Maybe one of those extreme box shaped Scions will be cheap when Festivas have disappeared. Look like ugly mini hearses but think they would be extremely practical.

The Skoda is a gas hog VS the Pride. What is interesting about the Pride is that the rear seat sheetmetal frame at the shock towers was removed. Not a bad idea if you wanted to permanently dispense with rear seats.

I was told the Mazda 121 had whitewall tyres when first sold in the UK and this was carried over to the Kia Pride. My '94 still had two when I bought it in 2006!
