  • Possible new Festiva's?

Tonight I ran into a guy that has had a Festiva sitting in his driveway for sometime. I once asked him if it was for sale, he wanted too much for it. and it has a bad engine. Now he said he wants it and the "other" one he has gone with all the extra parts. Apparently he has alot of extras, he has owned several of these cars. The other car is hit in the front but the body is pretty clean otherwise it is a 5 speed car. The one with the bad engine is not in bad shape and has an auto tranny. There are both 93's 1 L and 1 GL. There is an extra 88-89 carbed engine and 4 speed. Spare fenders, doors, hatch, and assorted other parts. The parts are there to put the 2nd one back together. All I need now is to make him an offer for the whole thing as a package. I don't know where I'll put it all!

If I could have afforded my "Festiva Ranch" out in the country, I would be breeding them right now!

Instead I'm stuck in the damn city. I could fit another five or six in my back yard, though.

Hmmm, I do want to stay on the neighbors good side, so that idea may not come to fruition. It's bad enough that I have to move the Mutt back and forth to mow under it.

                Hmmm....

In a field between Monticello Utah, and butt crack nowhere Colorado (4 Corners region) I saw 10-15 Festivas. We then decided that must be where they grow them..... It was great, they all looked in OK shape, and they were spaced out all over the field.
