so you removed the foam bumper pads and shortened the cover? (the steel bumper is still intack and installed). just looking for clarification.

That is exactly what they did, it basically tucked the bumper in about 3.5-4”. It look pretty good IMO, I Might try this mod on one of my other cars.

I'd like to see more detail on that rear bumper as well. I've got piece of C channel I was going to swap out for the rear inner bumper right up against the body. Probably cut some plates to bolt to the existing mount locations with studs I weld on, then weld the channel legs to the plate. I also want to tuck the front as well.

The rear bumper modification is the bobtail mod. There used to be a writeup on how to do it, I just don't feel like looking for it.
