  • Festiva with a 7 foot sleeper couch in the back...

I'm finished with putting a different motor in my Festiva, it runs great. I think I've put about 700 miles on it since I put in the different engine.

Today was a special day for the little blue Festiva. My Festiva has been my 'work-truck' because I've had all kinds of things inside it. I don't have the back seat in it and that gives me more room for stuff. Stuff like, 8 bags of 80 pound Quickret, 2x8 boards 10 foot long, all kinds of furniture, squares of shingles, and just too much to list.

Today I broke a record. I put a 7 foot sleeper couch in the back of the Festiva and drove around 60 miles to home.

              This is great!

We need to start a thread that shows all the large items a Festiva can carry.

There are already several threads on what all you've hauled in/behind a Festiva. I remember awhile back a Festiva for sale and the owner had posted photos of a couch sticking out about like this one and touting how much you can haul in it!

I've hauled a lot of stuff in mine but never would have believed that was possible.

Ya Prafeston, I found the other post showing a couch in the Festiva, amazingly it looks exactly like my couch too!

I once had a couch about that size on the roof of my festiva. Would have put it in the trunk like that but I had two passengers plus myself, so roof it was lol.
                        No festiva for me ATM...

                          Wide load

I claim the wide-load (and perhaps long-load) records.
