Tuesday Morning - April 16th, 2013
I'll be driving my Festiva from South Eastern Oklahoma to way down into Florida in about 6 weeks, a total of about 2,400 miles. It's my Mothers 80th surprise birthday party. I drove my Festiva there about 3 years ago with my wife and the trip went great. Well, I just put that newer Aspire block engine in the car so the engine part of it should go well. I plan to get new tires before I leave and a good tune-up and check up.
I'm just wondering if there is a list of yards along the way or some kind of support group / database of Festiva owners who could help with local salvage yards, parts and or part knowledge if a person would happen to be broke down some where along their trip.
Let's say that I knew of a Festy owner that was stranded in their Festiva within a 50 mile radius of where I lived, I would gladly take off and see if I could be of help to them - especially if we knew of each other from this forum.
