Using the Festi as a service truck sure beats the big chevy. At 45 cents a mile and a hundred miles round trip the difference in tires , maintenance and fuel is staggering, and it worked!!
BUT..it could work better. Has anyone added a locking tool box that opens into a workbench for use with the hatch open?
I carry various tools and the replacement cost of these tools are more than the car is worth. To have this box mounted and locked would really help the security issue.
Currently I carry the heavy stuff right behind the front seat for better weight distribution ( driving on ice/packed snow ) so that would be one drawback with a box on the tail end.
