coincidence? is it just me? mazda MPV? a Grown up Festiva?

hey guys, is it just my imagination or do the early 90's mazda mpv minivans have the same back window as a festiva? if not they sure do look similer!
When i see these things sitting at repair shops and sides of houses (seems like everyone has a bad trans!)

Look at the pictures of this one, is it just me or does this thing look like a Festiva, but all grown up? look at the back window, the hatch, the front windows, etc etc.. they even have the same fender flares!

well the hatch has some similarities round the license bracket area i guess. its a smaller type van, but it didnt strike that cord with me. i even looked at some at one time and never thought of the festiva. it could be a cousin though i guess :lol: they are only rated at something like 16/18 a gallon, yikes that sent me running.
