Larry, the rear fitment may depend on the wheel offset as well as the tire width. You could put a camera up into the rear wheel well to see what the clearance is now and figure out how much wider the 185s will make it.

I'm guessing that if your offset is 38mm or less, then you should have okay clearance. If you have 40+, then I'd worry about it, assuming you are running stock Festiva spec rear struts. Going to Aspire spec rear struts will provide more clearance, as will coil overs.

Karl, right now it has 185/70 on the rear and 175/70 on the front. The rear is REALLY close to the spring perch and something hits when I hit a bump. I only drove on my street, I'll put the stockers on tomorrow before Monday work since I dont have the hub adapters.

Yes, love those wheels, I paid $100 for mine also, no rubber on them but they were also still brand new in the box. I mounted 155/80s on them since I have several of those in the basement from buying a bunch when a small shop nearby when out of business. They are the best wheel for a Festiva, and they look best on red ones. So I'd say you did great!

I wouldn't go 195 on a 5.5 inch rim Just because you'll get that roll around corners.
Try a 165 or 175 / 65
You can also google "tire comparator" and the "rimsandtires" site that pops up will let you input the stock size (I put 155/80r12 x 4.5 with 40mm offset) and compare it against tire sizes you like or want to see if they fit and give you clearance details on them.
As far as the spacer if you're on through festiva hub the gorilla spacer is 59.61 for the hub. Take a micrometer and measure through hub bore of the wheel itself and that goes first. For instamce if the wheel is 72mm your hub rings would be 72-5961 on the gorilla rings.
I Just installed the rings on my estrellas and they are amazing.

Also you may wanna think about doing the lug conversion. Adaptit.com has the set (for festy) of m12×1.5 lugs and nuts for $40 shipped.

I had 205/60s on some 13x5.5s I used to have. They were ok but frank is right about them "rolling" in corners. 195 should be a little better. That would be my ideal tire size, but I'd want them on 13x6s probably.

I picked up 175/70-13 Michelin X Radials today at Sam's for $58.26 each or $322.50 with tax, mounted, balanced and warranty. Dropping the wheels off in the morning and picking them up at lunch tomorrow.
