Rebuilding b3

I want a full rebuild on my b3. Currently has 197k. She runs perfect, but I am looking for more power. I know everyone says b6 right off the bat, but I would love to do a built turbo b3.
So I want to start with making this b3 bulletproof, and more powerful. And just to the point where I can be comfortable installing a turbo on it.
If anyone knows of someone in the so cal area who does custom machine work please let me know! I'd like to get it started ASAP!

Hes not in Cali but you need to talk to Matt Dickmeyer. He is THE goto guy for b3 performance hands down. Check the custom engine and drivetrain sub-forum for info on may parts he has developed/ made.
