  • tint.... im not lovin it

i recently put a 5% tint on my car.. and to tell you the truth i do not like it at all on my driver side and pass side front windows at all. It is incredibly hard to see out of, i feel like the only thing i can focus on is the road in front of me cause if i look to the side it seems black. i think i might keep the tints on the rear side windows and maybe go with like a 35% on my rear window. Any one else feel the same way?

it does look pretty damn cool though

i had a friend that had the side windows tinted. and i was amazed, at nite ya couldnt see anything without rolling down the window. after that id never get the tint on the sides, even though it sure helps the heat factor and does look cooler. i just have the back windows and the hatch tinted.

how easy is it to get off now its on?

You may want to check what`s legal in your state. Over here that kind of tint would probably be illegal and you could get a ticket...

Your tint is so dark, you can`t see the passenger side mirror in the 1st pic

No wait there is no passenger side mirror. 1st Festy I see without a pass miror.

o yeah theres no doubt my tints are illigal, lowest you can go is 35% on the side windows and they have to be aproved with a sticker or something.

the tint shouldnt be a problem to take off

I had 5% on the rear and sides and 20% on the doors.. 5% 6" shade on the front. Got a ticket that got dismissed once I had it professionally replaced and got the tint sticker. Now it's mirror 5% on the rear and sides and mirror 35% on the doors.

That's why I went with 35%, even though that is illegal in Ohio. Ohio only allows 50%.

i recently put 20 % on my hatch and back two and 35% on fron two... i can see just fine and it looks great!

taking of tint is INCREDIBLY easy! just get a bottle of all purpose house clean (like Lysol) and a box of razor blades about 1 blade per window will be good. spray the tint with the cleaner and let the ammonia soak in nice and good the peal up a corner with blade and spray the clean as you peal off, you want to get as much off in one pull and then just spray mor cleaner and the adhesive will come right off with the blade (kind of like squeeging the windows!) just be careful on the back window with the defroster lines, do not cut them!

^^ Just like any other tint but it reflects a lot of the light in the day time and stays cooler inside than my regular tint did. But you kinda have to like that look.. which it's ok for me, but I still like the look of limo tint all around..

I ran 15% on my Pimptiva on all 5 windows... At first it was REALLY hard to see out of, but in time, I got used to it and it was a bit better.
