now we need to apply that technology to the 1.3 liter
i bet you could hit the 450 mark.
with the super and the turbo.

^Matt's original goal with his B3 was 500hp IIRC. Search his threads and look for the one when he started boosting it.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

A 500 hp b3 would be the most ridiculous thing ever.
Talk about losing traction.

has matt ever thought about supercharging too?
if he's working B3's to get output, it think something like a small supercharging kit, on top of what he already has, would set if off nicely. Also, i think it would allow for fairly low numbers at the quarter mile too, if that's his thing as well.
sound quite good.. there is one there for a Miata (MX5) and i'm not 100% if there would be too much effort in installation, but it did make mention of 'No A/C' kits and also a DIY Kit.
Reading the stats on the front about HP, i think that the price is justified considering.
If he has any question's regarding these at all, he can email them at supercharge@bulletcars.com
here is a B6 guide, specific to Miata, which also for anyone interested in tuning and overall maintenance of a B6 on page 13:2

the 800-1200hp F1 1.3s used a single turbo... 500 hp should be a breeze with just one as well.Trees aren't kind to me...

Let's not forget that in the late 80's in Formula 1 the 1.5L turbo engines were pushing 500 hp (370 kW) to 900 hp (670 kW) in race trim, and up to 1,500 hp in qualifying trim. They were aslo spinning well over 10,000rpm too. Turbos were banned for the 1989 season but it looks like they'll be back for 2014 on 1.6L engines.Ian
