          Thanks.
I know it's hard to tell because I've combined some AMX parts, but that's a base model '71 Javelin. I swapped out the 6-cyl for a 401

Sorry to Future for jackin' your thread...

            carbed vs. efi

The fuel injected festivas regularly get better mpg than the carburetor festivas. Both are rock solid, but the efi cars I've seen last longer, are WAY easier to work on, have 67 instead of 59 horsepower, and are noticeably quicker.

baelzbub, Nice Jav Man!, We gotta get you some Radir wheels for that thing!, heh I work there. (www.radirwheels.com)

One of the cars I will own someday will be a 71' Gremlin X with a built 401!,

OR a Big Bad orange mark donahue jav with the spoiler on the roof and trunk.
AMC v8's are the most underrated engines in the world!, caddy 472-500's too.

Getting back to the "efi problems", you want problems? buy a frikkin volkswagen, you can sink $10,000 into one and never get that damm light out,...

Ask anyone on this forum when the last time the check engine light came on in there festiva? These are like the most solid efi systems in the world!

This was my first car after turning 16. Got it with 43,000 on it . Had a 390 four speed and was a two seater. It would exceed 100 mph in the 1/4 stock with snow tires on. That's all I had. Don't you love the lime green?

My AMX was the best cheerio car! Seems like it red lined at 5000 RPM. Really low torque, but lots of muscle!

That's my next project, once I find a decent Gremlin.

I met Bill and we talked all about Radir wheels - thanks for that hookup, oddly enough Radir wheels are my #1, all-time favorite wheel company.

I'm dying for a set of Tri-Ribbs - I'll be heading up your way for a set when/if I ever get my car done.
