    Mini Meet with 1990new!

    Just had a mini meet with Jesse (1990new) at my house here in St. Louis!
    Very nice guy. He flew in from S.C. for a family members surprise birhday party, and we decided to have a meet and greet.
    We had breakfast at a local diner and talked festy's. I had my Festy on jackstands as I am installing new shifter bushings I got from Dan(bravekosak) so I couldnt take him for a ride in it.

    It was a good meet!

    sounds like fun, i enjoy just having a meet with anyone whether the cars are running or not! its just fun to get together & talk festys:thumbs_up:

      BTW, I got the shifter bushing kit installed and its tight! Hardly any slop!

        Was great to meet Dan in person.
        Enjoyed the meet Dan....
        Do hope you can make it to Madness. You can put a lot more faces with names there...in additon
        to seeing a lot of amazing Festivas.

          Whoa, that's right your Dan, the only memeber in St Louis!

          John forbid, you may have let anyone else know about the meet?
          You might have had 3 or 4 other cars there?

            Yeah, me and muleskinner had a mini meet up yesterday, picked up the thermostat housing that he'd kindly pulled for me. Then we looked over and talked about our Festys, then talked about other non Festy stuff.

              Sorry... that was my fault.
              We came in on Wednesday night and left on Monday afternoon. My wife is one of eight and 4 of them were visiting from out of town
              so I had to work around everyone's plans. (Small world...When my wife was a small child, her Grandparents lived one street over from Dan's house.)

              Dan had planned to check with others, but I did not know for sure when I could get away. Good thing he didn't make it
              a bigger meet because I had to change the original time I has set up to meet Dan at the last minute.

              I hope to see lots of the St. Louis and surrounding area forum members at Madness this year. I haven't been since
              2010, but I do plan on going this year....just have to decide which one of my Festivas to drive.

                    It was kinda spur of the moment. I did call Tom and .... no answer.... Left message it was gonna happen. Never heard from him.
                    A couple more Festys' would have been nice.
