my goals for ff06'!

things i plan to do before the Festiva Festival 2006:

Get k&n filter, install, and see if any real difference is made.
Paint my roof
fix the "Squeekys" inside and out
Run a 3" wide piece of vinyl down the side of my seat so it hides the "stitches" i put in her last week, along with painting the seat brackets black
Wire up the lights in my gauges the correct way
install my new center counsel
fix the tints/ finish
try and stop my oil leak
Clean up the engine bay some what
Carpet my sub woofer box
Don't break the car

long shot goals to do before:
Get a zeitronix data-logger, and hook it up.
Run my side exhaust through the rocker panel and make it look perrty
Get a set of cam-lock 5 point harness's.

Goal at Festiva Festival 2006:
Get there,
put my new fender on with mechanical dj :idea:
Get there,
win an award
Get there,
Put my window banner on!!!!
Get there,
Find some where to sleep,
Get there,
drink a beer with other festiva owners, laugh, cry, and share good memories with the ff.com crew!
Get home.

my goal is to work out my finances and find that I can afford to quit work and go to ff06 since they would not give me the weekend off. not looking very likely though...

My list.

Find the 200 bucks I need for the trip (selling my aspire this week).
Fix my damn radiator pipe that likes to pop apart in 100 degree weather (NY WHO KNEW!)
fix my minor oil leak around valve cover
repaint valve cover
cleanout inside of car
mount spare and jack
repaint hood
touch up bumpers
get new bulbs for headlights
get my horn to work
get car inspected
figure out how to make some more clearance for my altenator (rubbing to much around lefts)

etc.

Al I need to do is switch wheels/tires from the BP car to the BPT car. They are 7% taller so better mileage and lower engine rpm.

Sanded the roof today/tonight. Getting paint in the morning and hope to have it painted by noonish time..

Filter comes on Tuesday, I'm gonna take out the spark plugs on Tuesday and give em a nice little cleaning, i plan to play with the rear strut mounts to make them stop squeaking. I want to put my new tie rod ends on, on Tuesday.

Wednesday i need to take the car down to get aligned. Once that is done i am going to try and put my new center counsel in even though i have no brackets for it and i have no clue how it goes in.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make my seat look all nice but i will try. So after a nice wash with high hopes that my paint stays together with no problem, all lug nuts are torqued down, tire pressures check, oil and anti-freeze up to par, all nuts and bolts tight and fastened. I should hit the road Friday morning for my fun 700 mile adventure.

i am going to try and find some one to go with me in the car but idk if i have any friends that are that willing :roll: .

Hey, Guess what you wont be the only b6t in COnnecticut anymore. I buy my engine in 2 weeks. I would be willing to go with you on the trip if you havent found anyone yet. let me know soon so i can make the arrangments or im me when you get done working on your car. sean
