  • crap! now im even more indecisive...?

So in my local yard I have a bp,b6t,and b6d.
My car is an auto. 93 gl.
I plan to stay auto. I have two other manual cars.
I don't have the know-how/equipment to make the passenger mounts for either swaps. But would pay to have them made.
Gas mileage is a concern but it its relative to power increase it goes down.
    Its my DD.
I'm tired of getting cut of, and tired of loseing an ego match lol.
There is a Porsche boxter and mini cooper-S that need to be fell.
Upgrade path for future is a concern.
, but so is keeping DDriverability.

Vanity is in that list too.

What do ya think. I'm not above buying all engines and putting them in the garage.
    Fast....Women are fast
    Quick...Nestle is quick

    I Speak French....in German! lol.

If the B6T is in good shape (and complete), get it.

Next choice, the BP (add a turbo later).

For the ego it's either BP or B6T with the BP being the easier of the 2 swaps since you don't have to deal with the turbo plumbing.

For ease of swap the B6D wins out over the other 2 (marginally over the BP but there is some more fab work). But don't count the B6D out entirely since some of the Miata go fast parts like cams will fit it and the long block is rear turbo ready in factory trim since it has oil squirters and B6T rods already installed. I personally prefer the D as a good all around motor and I'm currently building one for one of my 93's.

Honestly, I would buy all 3 if the price is right but you should get the electronics and harnesses too.

        KL FTW lol

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

A 2.5 liter DOHC V6. It's a swap only certified nuts would attempt.

Hmmm. So probability if b8 head on the bp block for ease of swap? But I read that that is exactly what the b8 is?

I'm kinda leaning towards BP because it is the good all around. B6t or bpt just kinda make me drool

I'm seriously thinking about it. An automatic. An "aim it and floor it" car.

Basically that's a B8. Threre's more to it than that though. As for swapping heads, don't waste your time. Good B8s are everywhere and cheap.

I was till trying to clear the confusion about cutting something around the trans. I think it was the metal thing that sammiches in between it and the block.

And waiting for damkid to answer my pm lol.

no, you have to clearance the oil pan on the BP (if it's aluminum, and you're using the E series trans)
                            Trees aren't kind to me...

                            currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
