The Korean invasion began in the late eighties with three shitboxes: the Hyundai Excel, the Pontiac LeMans, and the Ford Festiva. Korea Week CC pits them against each other to determine the outcome: the Festiva loses the contest by a large margin. Why? It was way too good of a car. So losing is winning in this showdown. Now undeniably, the Festiva still falls into the shitbox category by virtue of its looks alone; in fact it’s styling couldn’t be more so: somewhere betw…

They have called the Festiva by a name deemed to be inappropriate by some of the moderators and members of this website.

Nice. And the xxxxbox category is still open, sadly. I'm still hoping for some little company to bring a tiny, good, affordable EV to fill the void.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I just want Kei cars in the US without huge import fees and tax duties.

I'm looking at a 1991 Suzuki Cappuccino for import right now, although I can't actually bring it over until Oct 2016 or more likely until about 2017. Itd be a nice 'over the hill' gift, even though I'm 30 in 2015.

I suppose if I really wanted to wait longer than that, [I don't, but I may have to anyway], I could get one of thew newer ones with more power and better overall performance [and emissions crap], too. They all use a G10 variant that is 660cc though [and turbo] and they're RWD... also less than 7 feet long.
