  • I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CAR!

    Here's a mugshot. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ercuryLynx.jpg

It's a Mercury Lynx. I came across one of these the other day and I realized that I knew nothing about it. From what years was it made? What is it's sister car? The Escort? Does that mean it has a 1.6L engine? Did it come in a 2 door model? And does anybody have one?
it'll do the 1/8 in 13.7, spin tires, and make all my drunk buddies giggle.

Sister car ? Looks like an old escort. A friend of mine had a escort wagon that looked real similar.

            lynx

I agree that the lynx is yuck..... unless it is diesel. The diesels last a long time. The gas Lynx is heavy and slow and doesn't get good fuel economy. It is like the escort. That is the first generation too. Nothing close to a festiva.

I know they made a first gen diesel escort. Here is one on ebay.

I think the lynx came that way too??
