    Went to show drumnerd what was keeping the head on the block. Lifted the head. Cut my right index finger almost in half. Never had that happen from a head before.
    Sorry, no gross pics to show.

      Probably a casting or machined edge.

          Jason is right on the money. It was a machined edge. I lifted and felt it cut. Looked and a chunk of my finger was hanging open. I should have been wearing my mechanics gloves. But I was just showing Jeremy something.

                    That sucks man. You gotta watch those edges, they'll bite you before you know it. That's why when I work a head I smooth all the casting flash. It sucks when you're working on a car and a piece of that digs into your arm. Plus it looks pretty under the hood
                    If a hammer doesn't fix it you have an electrical problem

                      This is especially dangerous when your hands are soaked in coolant. I've sliced myself hundreds of times taking heads out of the mill.
