      header paint and the orange is just regular paint

        High heat orange would have given you a heat tolerant alkyd resin. Inorganic cadmium pigments are the best for high heat color stability plus bright red and orange colors. Let us know how it stands up to the exhaust heat.

        When they say avoid at all costs, they mean dom't breathe in the pigment dust when you are making your own paint, spaying in onto a surface, or having a child eating the flakes of paint.

          Eating flakes of paint was one of my favourite childhood activities..

          ...we have a 110-year-old house with lead paint.
          White '92 GL 5-speed BP, G series, Aspire/Rio swapped, "Nancy"
