  • Engine Control Module

1992 Festiva--1.3--L--5 Speed---244K Miles. Thinking of replacing my Engine Control Module. Even though it's electrical and probably either works of doesn't work, time and mileage must affect it. Would clean the terminals insure a tight fit. Any advice? I've replaced the coil and wires etc. Also, see great price differences on EBAY---$25 dollars to almost $200 dollars---what gives???

the ICM is a solid state unit, time and milage have no effect on it. keep thermal paste on the base and the terminals clean, and grab a spare from the JY.

Was sure that would be the answer. But, had to ask the question just in case. Will do a [WTB] shortly. Thanks to all.
