Flywheel brands for F series

Hey guys,

I have to order a local flywheel for my F series I am about to put into my festy. I don't know much about flywheel brands and wouldn't want to buy a cheap soft flywheel. Any of you had bad/good experiences with any brands?
I noticed rockauto are selling a brand called rhinopac and brute power. Never heard em before, are they any good?

You would go out and buy a new flywheel when there a dozens of folks here that probably have a good ones kicking around for much less cost?

well I'm in Canada and I need it for next weekend. I know it does sounds crazy.

Do everything you can to find an original Mazda flywheel and get it machined (a good shop will charge about $60). All the aftermarket ones for the E and F Trans on a B-motor are junk.
Remember that you can use any Ftrans flywheel so they're not that hard to find.
I got a Brute Power one for my F trans and had to send it back because the pilot bearing bore was .080" too big. Nearly pooped myself when I went to drive the bearing in and it fell right through the wheel and onto the floor.

Along the same subject is there any difference between the automatic flywheel and manual flywheel for an F series?

^^ As far as ring gear tooth count or bolt circle or just in general? Autos and Manuals are completely different. Autos use a flexplate and manuals use a flywheel.
