SOME OF THEM DO, BUT ONLY THE LX-MODEL FESTIVAS.
THE NORMAL L MODELS (4-SPEED MANUAL OR SOMETIMES AUTOMATIC) DID NOT HAVE TILT WHEEL. ONLY THE 5-SPEED MANUAL AND SOMETIMES THE AUTOMATICS (LX-VARIANT) HAD TILT WHEEL.

I gather this sudden discovery surprised you! I don't think this was a common feature seeing as these cars are not difficult to get in and out of and most folks that bought econoboxes weren't looking for lots of bells and whistles either.
Be forewarned about 89 model Festys. The Automatics are transition models with increasingly-become-rare electrics in them that no other Festys have.

Maybe I will have to pull the dash and save the wiring harness from the 89 auto Festiva LX at Schotz's, the next time I visit. I destroyed the rear wire harness already. I needed the wiring + the two pin inertia switch with the white pop-up button. I don't need the three pin red pop-up.Last edited by bravekozak; 10-05-2013, 01:01 PM.
