Geraldine and I drove up to Willard Ohio to look at this 90 Festiva L plus automatic. (click on link) The pictures in the add are old. Probably when they first purchased the car from someone else several years ago.
It has sat for 2 years in a pole barn, right front bearings were gone, brakes are bad, rust holes in the floor, no Ebrake, and it was burning oil a bit while it was running. The oil looked as black as my car. Inside the car was musty like it has been wet in there for a long while. Car must leak back in the fire wall. Seats were ripped up a bit. and the body of the car, what you can see was in good shape, except for the drivers door down at the corner there was rust.
We would have had to have it towed 200 miles back home in the condition it was in.
They were asking 650. We offered 400 and they would not go below 650. So we declined.
Geraldine did not want it at the asking price. It was her choice because it was going to be her Festy.
