Hey Guys!!! Been gone quite a while but looking to catch up on what's been going on. I still have Hot Rod but soon turning it over to my son who will begin his own custom legacy with Festiva. Got some repairs to do first but will be looking for your advice again soon. Good to be back.

I have never taken a break from festivas since I started in 91. I've never taken a break from this site either.

I've had to take breaks too.... From working on my festiva, it was getting overwhelming and a break was what I needed to stop me from putting a for sale on it lol

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I feel like I never left. Thanks guys!!!

My son is waiting on his date to ship to Paris Island for boot camp and thanks to the budget issues the date keeps getting moved out. So with that he asked if he could buy Hot Rod from me and make his own. It's gonna be fun to see what he can do while waiting on The Marines. I'll get him on here and keep you guys posted. Jason, you know we'll be calling. :0)

My youngest son went through Paris Island in 1997... make sure he is prepared to get the crap scared out of him... and once he gets there, take the time to mail him a little note of encouragement every couple of days. He will thank you later when you see the new man he has become at graduation.
