  • can't believe what the festy started doin today- disaster around corner???

I opened the door and heard a whining I've never heard before.
car wasn't even running - after further inspection the dang door
buzzer started working today! then to top it off the shift light
came on a few times to boot. my interior light still works on the door
but not manuelly. the end is near I'm afraid.

btw, its an 89 and I've had it 2 years and put24k miles on her.

Sounds like things are coming to life again which isn't a bad thing lol

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yeah, just recently my buzzer started actually sounding if the car was running with the door open, or if I shut the car off and opened the door with the keys still in the ignition. It never did that before, before it only buzzed if the headlights were left on after shutting off the engine.

Lol, one time I went through a deep puddle with speed and heard a faint, whimpering buzz from under the dash. It faded out, or I turned up the radio.. Either way, some water must have gotten into the door jamb switch I guess. What my mind thought was a Festiva ghost, man!
