mos def. i kinda already had that in mind because the position of that mount makes all the difference in where the motor falls on the xmember. id even like to see the drivers side fender mount for the trans in the package for the bp

We've been talking about this for a while but we have to get some new equipment in order to fab things easier and faster. Doing stuff completely one off and hand made is fun, but it's extremely time consuming, labor intensive, and repeatability is reduced.

I'm planning on making some and have a motor sitting in my spare shell to mock them up. The problem I'm having is that if I make mounts to work with a stock un modded crossmember it places the motor to far forward for me. I think if i get a auto crossmember it might be possible. I might be able to space the crossmember down but I haven't had time to try yet. I could make a whole new crossmember but i think it would cost more than most are willing to spend. Also I only have a b6t/cable g25 I need a bp and a hydro trans to be able to guarantee fitment. (The last set I had made for my cable had to be modded to fit a hydro)Better Than Nothing Racing

i spoke to matt dickmeyer about making a Multimount combination to alleviate future mounting issues if say someone wanted to go from a B6D to a BP using any combination of transmission available (E/F and G series) so it would completely take the work out of having to guesstimate the exact placements for each of the components necessary to fit and mount.. however, he was kinda snowed under with work and was losing work because of producing festiva parts... so i leave the challenge to the next person here who would like to create the mount kit necessary to wangle any combination Mazda engine/transmission combination to deal with all mounts and be able to leave the crossmember alone.Ford Festiva 1991 WA Model (5 Door)

Another problem with mounts is those who have festivas that have been in front end accidents. The passenger side of mine has been hit and it has tweaked some things, so the mounts I have won't work in another festiva with a straight frame. Alot people on here have rebuilt festivas, most having probably slightly tweaked frames that wouldn't be able to accept mounts for a straight framed festiva. The Festiva Store

My idea is to create some Play-Dough like substance that can be hand formed around any transaxlw/crossmember combo and then it hardens into a Buckyball-Ceramic polymer that can take up to 1200 hp even in outer space.
Well, I've done the hard part thinking it up, so someone get right on finishing this, okay?
