    CV axles/bad brakes also would mean it won't pass California inspection, correct? There's another thing to add to your list!

      No state inspections in CA. Just SMOG tests. This one just passed and has its certificate. Funny of all the other extreme rules in CA, the state doesnt care if your brakes work!

        Awesome lol. Here in Indiana tires are barely a necessity for legal driving.
