  • Found 2 festys...

I will post some pics when I go get them hopefully.

One is an automatic 198,000. The other is a 5 speed 230,000.

We are going to go look at them on Monday and maybe get them. The 5 speed will have to be hauled back on a trailer.

    Updates to follow.

Finallly got home 3:30a! We drove both Festys home (345 miles) with the help of a 3rd person. The automatic has brake, belt and shock issues at the moment and the 5 speed has brake, front end, & broken windshield issues right now. What an adventure!! I'm sleepy and I'll post pictures later.

Here are pics of the Festys we got after we got home. The blue one busted a brake line when we test drove it and almost didn't take it till I came up with an idea to crimp off the leaky brake line. It was for the left rear. That fixed the leak and we got both home safe and sound. Also the blue one pulls hard to the right & has a broken windshield. Inside the car needs a lot of help, but all repairable or replaceable. The red one eats oil bad. I had to put 2 quarts in after the 340 mile plus drive home. That's probably the biggest issue out of the two.
                Enjoy the pics!

Blue has no rust at all. Some dings and scrapes though, and looks like the drivers front corner may have been wrecked at one point. It has a different fender & hood on it.
Red has some minor rust on it though but not bad. Red is going to be transformed to a different color in the future.
Blue is going to keep its color.

Congrats, I wish I could keep my money around long enough to buy another.

Mine still has allot of bodywork to go through to make it look any good, and sadly it will have to be bondo work, body has so many little dings and dents, that they are all going to have to be filled.
Still looking for a good rust free drivers side fender if anyone has one, I will be willing to travel, but not too far, just the neighboring states around Ohio.
