Oreilly's usually has them in stock. If not they will get them in for you without pre-paying. Call early and they usually have them in an hour or so.

I cant believe your NAPA doesnt have them! I can get them at AZ, Advance, NAPA, and Oreilly's!

As for the Aspire rear nuts ... Look at Rockauto.com and check the Festiva and Aspire part numbers against each other!

For shame.. none of us would do that. If in a junkyard and it can fit in the pocket and is smaller than my wallet, you know where it goes.

...on the table... to be bought.

To answer your original question: Aspire nuts and 88-92 Festiva nuts are different. In 93 Festys went to the castle nuts with cotter pin; no crimping. There might possibly be some 92s with the later style.

If size and thread pitch is the same between Festy/Aspire (and I would think they are) now is a perfect time to switch over to the castle nut/cotter pin set up! Grab the JY nuts and spin them on for now, just to get back on the road, and then when it's quiet and there's more time drill through the spindle with a 1/8" bit so as to make space for a cotter pin. I switched all of my Festys over to this arrangement and can assure you rear spindles are not made of hard steel.

Not sure this is a good idea since the castle nuts can't be crimped. Unless you also use locktite to help hold them on. I'd recommend the red locktite, as a safety precaution. The nut can still be unscrewed, it just takes more torque than with blue.
